For our first-ever FCDC CV Revamp session, community members had their CVs reviewed live by James Congdon, a recruiter specialising in SEO, GEO, Paid Search, and eCommerce hiring.
The session focused on helping marketers, freelancers, SEO specialists, content strategists, and writers improve how they present their experience for freelance and full-time opportunities.
James reviewed CVs from multiple FCDC members and shared practical feedback on positioning, formatting, readability, recruiter expectations, portfolios, and clearer communication of impact.
Community members also discussed the frustrations of applying for international roles without feedback, which led to conversations about clarity, positioning, and job applications.
