Introducing Our First FCDC Tool Jam with Advanced Web Ranking

We’re pleased to announce the launch of our very first FCDC Tool Jam in partnership with Advanced Web Ranking (AWR).

The FCDC Tool Jam is a competition where ten FCDC members use a partner tool to complete a real-world project and publish a case study or article that demonstrates their expertise.

The top three submissions receive cash prizes, while all participants leave with a portfolio-ready piece that can support future job, client, or internship applications.

  • 1st place – £500
  • 2nd place – £300
  • 3rd place – £200

How It Works

  • Attend our demo day with Advanced Web Ranking on June 11 at 1 pm UK time.
AWR’s representative, Bogdan Muntean, will walk through the platform and its features and answer questions. Attendance is required for those who wish to participate in the tool jam.

  • After the demo, attendees will receive a link to submit a project pitch.
The pitch form will remain open for one week.

  • After reviewing all submissions, we will select ten participants to join the Tool Jam.

  • Selected participants will have two weeks to complete their project and write a short case study or article.

  • At the end, we will select three winners based on the strength of the project and the clarity of the write-up.

What type of submissions are we looking for?

Here are some examples of what we’re looking for:

The ideal submission incorporates the tool as part of a larger workflow to solve a problem the audience faces.

If you’re interested in growing your skills, building your portfolio, and getting hands-on experience with a real SEO tool, this is a great opportunity. If you’ve used rank trackers before or are confident working with data and tools, we encourage you to apply.

The FCDC Tool Jam is designed to help you learn by doing. We look forward to seeing how you make the most of it.
